We took our popular street knee pad and updated it with looped backed neoprene that opens so you no longer need to remove your shoes and slip the pad over your foot. It's something we took from our pro pad line up.

These are very nice knee pads and hold up very well to sliding on concrete. They are made very well.
Great product (and protection) which has built confidence in my son who just started skateboarding. And their amazing customer service is like icing on the cake!
My son wears Pro Tec knee and elbow pads. They fit him very well and you can't beat the quality for the price. We use them enough to replace once a year and this always seems to be the best fit for him.
I used to run Protec pads in the 90s as a teen... Recently got back into blading for health/fitness, so I've been reconstructing my old setup. The fit and quality on these Protec knee pads are still the best. And they've improved since the last time I used them--the elastic backing now has velcro too, so you don't have to take your shoes/skates off just to put them on. The cups are really heavy duty and the fabric is also very tough, so you can bet these will give you some solid protection and last a long time. Protec is the best!
I'm learning how to skateboard and will wear these when I'm trying something new or want extra protection during practice. There's ample padding and the butterfly closures plus velcro straps help keep the knee pads in place. If you've gone from no pads to street pads, they'll feel bulky at first, but it only takes a few sessions to get used to. The material inside the knee pads is quite comfortable and despite a few falls, the hard plate has taken the impact well. I also use the mesh bag to store and carry the knee pads; it's a nice addition.
