Wrist guards that actually work with your gear instead of against it. Love Pro-tec!

As a long time skier learning how to snowboard, the Pro-Tec Undercover Snow Wrist Guards were a great addition to my gear. From the moment I put them on, the quality was noticeable — the breathable neoprene feels durable, and the stitching and straps don’t feel flimsy at all. I tried four different "under glove" wrist guards by various manufacturers including a pair of gloves with integrated wrist guards and these Pro-tec guards felt the most comfortable and solid by far.

Fit was one of my biggest concerns and these fit relatively true to the size guide. Make sure to measure your hand! They are slim and slide right under my gauntlet style gloves with no need to size up. There is no bunching or awkward bulk. The wide elastic strap locks the guards in place really well, so even on long runs or lifts you don't feel them slipping or shifting around.

Functionally, these are exactly what I wanted: firm wrist support with reinforced top and bottom splints but without feeling like I’m wearing clunky protection or sacrificing the use of my hands or fingers. The slim profile is hardly noticeable once you're out there until you fall on your hands and then you'll be glad you have them on. Knowing that I've got some extra protection while I'm still learning the basics and dialing in my falls gave me confidence and peace of mind to push the learning process further.

Overall I’m really happy with these and would recommend them to anyone looking to add low-profile wrist guards that actually work with your gear instead of against it. Love Pro-tec!

Snow wrist guards

I haven’t had a chance to test these in action yet, but the fit feels ideal. Great front and back wrist protection and the slim design fits nicely under my gloves. Here’s hoping I never need them on my snowboard trip, but it will be my first time so I’m taking all the protection I can!
